PONSONBY CROQUET CLUB
A CARD AFTERNOON The Ponsonby Croquet Club held its first of a series of bridge and five hundred afternoons in tho Ponsonby Bowling Club's pavilion on Thursday. The hostesses were Mrs. Aitehison, Mrs. Sneddon, Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Healey. The president, Mrs. Aitehison, welcomed the members and their friends, and presented prizes to tho following winners: —Bridge, Mrs. Sneddon and Mrs. Copeland; five hundred, Mrs. Kennett. Among those present were Mrs. Torrance, Mrs. J. V. Adams, Mrs. Hilton, .Mrs. Colthurst, Mrs. C. E. Hardley, Mrs. J. D. Webster, Mrs. T. C. Clarke, Mrs. A. Snedden, Mrs. G. Foster. Mrs. C. Rowe, Mrs. G. E. Bell. Mrs. Copeland Mrs. Hopwood, Mrs. Worthington, Mrs. A. C. Norden. Mrs. Kennett, Mrs. Wvllie, Mrs. F. Bishop, Mrs. W. H. M urray, Mrs. Healey. Mrs. R. H. Horsier, Mrs. B. N. Thomas, Mrs. G. F. Frieberg, Mrs. Plummer, Mrs. Johnston, Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Marsden, Miss Barber, and Miss Humphries.
