POPULAR COMEDY
" MR. PIM PASSES BY w The Little Theatre Society has set itself a high standard for the future in its latest production, " Mr. Pim Passes By," possibly tho most delightful of all tho works of A. A. Milne and certainly tho best play ever presented by tho society. In every way the production is excellent. The piece itself of course needs no introduction to Auckland audiences, but the manner in which it is presented is a revelation as to the standard attainable by amateurs. The leading honours go to Miss Althea Parker, who combines real ability with a charming stage presence, although Mr. Dan Flood, as Mr. Pim, is almost as meritorious. Few faults can be found with tho remainder of the cast —Mr. Graham Brown-Douglas, Miss Dulcie Dunningham, Mr. Terence Morgan, Miss Edna Craig and Miss Ngaia Hughes. The play is produced by Mr. Frederio McCailum. The season will be closed to-morrow.
