WORK IN NEW ZEALAND PROMISING RESULTS ACHIEVED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Tuesday The correlating officer of the New Zealand branch of the British Empire Cancer Campaign, Dr. Rohmd Fulton, .of Dunedin, stated to-day that divisions had been organised in each of the four main centres to carry out research work regarding the cause, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. So far tho results had suggested linos of investigation which were distinctly promising, but much derail work remained to be done, said Dr. Fulton. "Certainly, wo are curing cases which, even five years ago, we were inclined to regard as beyond our powers," he said. "It is necessary to instil a spirit of optimism into the whole subject so that wo can recognise and appreciate the valuable work which has already boen achieved and which continues to make progress daily.-'
