PRESENTATION.
Mr. H. B. Menzies, postmaster at Birkenhead for tho past six years, who has been transferred to Dovonport, was presented with a gold-mounted fountain pen, suitably inscribed, from the residents of Birkenhead, at a social gathering in his honour. Mr. W. B. Darlow, a member of the Borough Council, who .made tho presentation, referred to tho high regard entertained for Mr. Menzies, and the capable and courteous manner in which he had discharged tho duties of postmaster.
