Members of tlio Auckland Ladies' Golf Club played tho monthly medal competition at the Middlcmove links yesterday. OKOROIRE CLUB. The second annual autumn tournament of the Okoroire Golf C'Uib took place under perfect golfing conditions as far as the weather and links were concerned. Nearly 40 competitors, representing many clubs, participated and some keen dose contests resulted. The original Okoroire Cup, previously won by Wilson, of Waihi, in 1915. was the big event of the tournament and' was won by a local second year player. D. Mclsaacs, of the Okoroire Club, with a, net score of 129 for the 36 holes. _AI ford and A. H. Nicoll. of Cambridge, tied for second place, with 131 net. E. A. Wilson, Waihi. returned 132, and W. Morrice, Rotorua, 133. In the Qualifying round of the Peerless Cup the following players qualified :—E. Harwood, J. Philpott. Okoroire; C". Gee, A. E. Kusabs, F. Wilkie, Botorua: J. H. Francis, Maungakiekie; C'orbett, Matamata; and A. K. Wylie, Auckland. In the first round Wilkie beat Philpott. Kusabs beat Harw/iod. Francis beat Corbett. .and Gee beat Wylie. In the semi-finals Wilkie beat Gee and.Francis beat Kusabs. the cup going to Francis, who beat Wilkie 2 up.
