At the annual meeting of the Univer sity Council to-day it was decided to set up the following special committee to consider the financial situation and to report to the council' The chancellor, Professor H. W. Segar, Professor T. A. Hunter, Professor J. Hight, Sir Robert Stout, Sir George Fowlds and Messrs. W. B. Montgomery. A. E. Flower, W. J. Morrcll and Dr. W. Newlands.
