BUS SERVICE EXTENSION
Tli r Devonport Borough Council met, last, evening tho Mayor, Mr. E. Aldridge, presiding. A resolution authorising the raising of a special loan of £I4OO for the purpose of reimbursing the district fund account for advances made on account of the refuse destructor was carried.
The Mayor, Mr. E. Aldridge, and Mr F. .7 H. Ellisdon were appointed delegates to the Municipal Association Conference to be held at Wanganui on March 6
The Devonport. Rovs' Band was granted permission to hold a carnival on tho Windsor Tleserve, extending over a period of six days
Sitting as No. 2 Licensing Authority, tho council gavo permission to the North Shore Transport Company, Limited, to extend its motor-bus service from tho corner of Milford and Hurstinere Roads to the end of Craig Road, via Milford and Craig Roads A flat, rate of one pennv was fh fare fixed for the section
