STANDARDISATION QUESTION
OBJECTION IN TARANAKI
[B? TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday.
The directors of the Eahotu Dairy Company yesterday decided to lodge an objection to the regulations gazetted in relation to the standardisation of cheese, on the grounds (1) that the regulations are not sufficiently clear: (2) that they have been adopted without adequate consideration by the industry; (3) that their adoption is calculated to damage Zew Zealand produce on the London market. The resolution of protest is to be sent to the Minister of Agriculture and also to the director of the dairy division.
