It was stated that the trouble arose 1 from interference with native women by the black boys who accompanied a white man who had travelled through the district some months previously. A patrol party arrived and. they all proceeded to the ..-cent- of the murders and buried the bodies of Messrs. Collins, M&rley and Fisher.
