PROSPECTS AT GfSBORNE. NO TROUBLE ANTICIPATED. [BY TELEGRAPH, —PREBS ASSOCIATION.] GISBOBNE. Saturday. The two local freezing works commence killing operations on November 22. The managements do not anticipate any trouble, as many of the men have been working through the winter and are unwilling to join in the dispute. In the event of union labour not being ayailable, volunteers will bo taken on. WORK NOT COMMENCED. MUTTON BUTCHERS AT WAITAKA. fBY TELEGRAPH.—-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH. Saturday. The mutton butchers at Borthwick and Son's Waitara works were notified oa Thursday that killing would commend yesterday, and three were definitely eaf gaged, but without .explanation they fail©! to put in an appearance yesterday.
