THE AUCKLAND CLUB. A four-ball beat-ball bogey competition was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club oa Saturday. A strong southerly wind which prevailed, made many of the holes very difficult and of the Si who started only five pairs finished up on bogey, and of these three tied with 2 up. MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. The Titirangi handicap foursomes to be played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club during the summer months will be commenced this week. The match is to be played on the two-life system, each pair falling out when it loses two matches. A new draw will be made after each round.
