Evidence given by Thomas Joyce wa 5 that he was suddenly confronted by Kai wai, who fired point-blank at him with shotgun. Witness immediately ducked 3 but received some of the charge in hi r back. Then he dodged into the manuk f scrub and Kaiwai fired again, but missed Witness then rushed Kaiwai and trifti 1 to get the gun from him, and accuse tried to strike him with the butt.
