Tho car was driven by Mr. Jafeoafo, a well-known farmer, and also contained two women and a child. Slight injuries were received by the driver, bub the others escaped unhurt. The tide was completely out at tho time, so that the car sank in mud and shallow water At full tide there is nearly 16ft. of water.at this spot, so that had the tide not been out at the time some of the occupants might easily have been drowned.
