PORT OF WHANGAREI.
THE SHIPPING RETURNS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI. Saturday. The shipping to the port of .Whangarei showed a slight- improvement last month on the previous month's returns, 93 vessels being berthed, against 82 in, April. The net tonnagp of the vessels was 20,096, against 18,572. The trade statistics show that the imports represented 1798 tons, against 2552 tons. Exports for i the same period were 12,345 tons, against 12,630 tons.
