The engagement is announced of Miss Irene Kimber, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Kimber, Hokianga Road, Dargaville, to Mr. Earnest Vincent.Morrish, second son of Mr. and Mrs. GL H. Morrish, Pembroke Road, Stratford. The engagement is announced between Lieutenant-Commander Vero E. Kemball, E.N., only son of Major-General Sir George Kemball, K.C.M.G., C.8.. D.5.0., and Lady Kemball, 0.8. E., and Janet Margaret, second daughter of Major-Gen-eral Sir Andrew H. Russell, K.C.8., K.C.M.G., and Lady Russell, of Tuna Nui, Hastings. An engagement of some interest to Xew Zealanders, lately announced, is that between Colonel the Hon. M. Hore-Rath-vtn, C.M.G., D.5.0.» and the Hon. Anpela Manners. The wedding was to take place on May 26, at Avon Tyrrell, Chris tchurch, Hampshire. During the war, as Njw Zealanders who happened to be at Brockenhnrst will remember, the Hon.
