CROSS-COUNTRY CONTEST. MASTERTON BEAT HUTT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MASTERTON, Saturday. The Sanders Cup contest over five miles was held at Masterton this afternoon _ between Masterton and Hutt Valley Harriers. The Masterton club won easily. R. Robo (Masterton) was first, J. Heffer (Masterton) second, and Kent (Hutt Valley) third. A Dome (Hutt Valley) was fourth, and H. G. Dome (Hutt Valley) fifth, while the nest six competitors were Masterton Harriers.
