Grigsby, dispels the idea that the Auckland Association did not wholly support the proposal to hold a scouts' rally at Christchurch. The letter states: "The executive desires to express its keen appreciation of your sympathy and coation in connection with the proposed rally, and to extend its thanks for the highly satisfactory support given the proposal by the Auckland scouts."
