SINKING GERMAN FLEET
STRONG FRENCH PROTESTS. SHARE OF SHIPS WANTED. tßcocived 11.15 p.m.) Router. PARIS, Feb. 23. Le Journal strongly protests against the proposal to sink the German fleet, in view of the scarcity of metals and machinery, espebially.in France. The paper says the French Minister for Marine is absolutely opposed to the idea. France will insist on receiving a considerable part of the fleet.
