NEW ZEALAND MARBLE.
The Now Zealand Insurance Company, in using New Zealand marble in its new building. has pet an ?xample in the utilisation of local products which will doubtless be followed by others. The work, which was carried out by Messrs. Hansford and Mil's, of Wellington, with Mr. J W. McKeop as clerk of works, shows the suitability of this material for both outside and inside work. The same material is used for the corridors and staircases, where it shows to advantage against the oak panelling and wrought" iron railings the work of Messrs. Orevatt and Son and of Mr. Arthur Milikin.
