THE LESSON OF JUTLAND.

On the anniversary of the battle of Jutland Captain Persius, tho naval currespondent of tho Berlin Tageblatt, published an article in which ho states: It ■ a well to remember what a serious opponent Britain is. Slio has never lost a single war, but has triumphed at the end of every campaign. Captain Fersius scornfully condemns such statements as that the English are aware their sea power will be gone if they experience another Jutland. He -Hares that such statements anger German tailors, m-.nv of whom have learned that the English aro galiant, strong opponents. Captain Persius points out that in spite of Jutland the German -merchant flag is still banished from the seas.
