REVOLT IN UKRAINE.
PEASANTS DEFY GERMANS.
DESTROYING THE CROPS. A. and N Z. W \SHINGTON. June 2.
The State Department has received a report from the Petrograd News Association that the Ukrainian peasants have revolted and are setting fire to woods, destroying crops, and refusing to give up their agricultural implements to German soldiers. The Germans are using artillery to suppress the revolt.
