MIDNIGHT RAID ON PARIS DRIVEN OFF.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE INJURED BY ENEMY'S BOMBS. Australian and X.Z. and Reuter. LONDON. June -2. A French official message .states that several groups of enemy aeroplanes succeeded m reaching the Paris region on Sunday morning, shortly after midnight. They met with a lively cannonade from the batteries. Several bombs were dropped, and it is reported that a number of people were injured. The " All clear"' signal was given at 2.8 in the morning.
