PRIME MINISTERS APPEAL
DUTIES AND PENALTIES
As already staled, the fortnight for the enrolment of all men of military age tinder the provisions of the Military Service Act will commence on September 1. The Prime Minister, who is chairman of the Recruiting Board, has issued an appeal to every local authority in the Dominion to u.-e every means in its power during the enrolment period to impress on the men ■concerned the obligation that is cast upon them to enrol or notify any change of address, and to emphasise the serious penalTies that negle; t of this duty will bring upon them.
