LICENSING COMMITTEE.
MANUKAU DISTRICT. The annual meeting of the Manukau Licensing Committee was held .yesterday in the courthouse, at Onehunga. Mr. F. V. Frazer, S. M., presided, and there were present Messrs. J. Rowe, D. Neilson, G. E. Tansley, J. Brady, and W. H. Gavin. New licenses were issued to the following persons: George Toyne Harris, Prince Albeit Hotel; Thomas O'Shea, Exchange Hotel; Frederick Olson, Manukau Hotel; Arthur Bach, Ellerslie Hotel; Henry H. Dyer, Panmure Hotel. The following renewals were granted : — Harriette Dingle, Hibernian Hotel; Charles T. Gibson, Railway Terminus Hotel; Willam J. Williams, Criterion Hotel,' Otahuhu; William J. Mclnnes, Star Hotel, Otahuhu. No complaints with regard to the conduct of the hotels were received from the police.
