RECIPE TO DARKEN GREY HAIR. THIS HOME-MADE MIXTURE DARKENS GREY HAIR AND REMOVES DANDRUFF. To a half-pint of water add: — Bay Rum loz. Orlex Compound ... a small box. Glycerine These are all simple ingredients that you can buy from any chemist at very little cost, and mix them yourself. Apply to the scalp once a for two weeks, then once every other week until all the mixture is used. A half-pint should be enough to darken the grey hair, rid the head of dandruff and kill the dandruff germs. It stops the hair from falling out and relieves itching and scalp diseases. It promotes the growth of the hair and makes harsh hair soft and glossy.
It is difficult to dodge the germs of Nasal Catarrh, Sore Throat, and Influenza. Wherever there is a crowd, whether in tram, train, or _ picture show, there 'is danger of infection. The surest protection is the frequent use of Nazol, which is a powerful germicide and antiseptic. A few drops on loaf sugar and allowed to dissolve very slowly in the mouth between the cheek and gums is all that is necessary. Cheering and comforting in wintry weather is " Desert Gold," the Queen of Teas. The 2s grade, Is most economical.
