PREMATURE EXPLOSION.
A WORKMAN BLINDED. [BY TELEGRAM.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Taihape, Monday. In the bush at Ohutu this morning, Patrick Mooro was ramming a heavy cliargo of blasting powder, which exploded prematurely. Ho received tho full effect in tho face, and was blinded. There is little hope that ho will recover his eyesight. His left hand was also badly mangled.
