APPENDICITIS ACTIVE.
CASES ON BATTLESHIPS. I Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received April 27, 6.20 p.m.) New York, April 26. Appendicitis is increasing to such an extent on American battleships that it is now classified as an occupational disease. One official medical officer states that cold storage meat seems to increase the number of cases. Death, however, is a rare thing.
