REMUERA CHILDREN'S HOME.
The ladies' committee connected with the Remueni Children's Home intends to hold a gift afternoon and evening on Thursday at the Tabernacle. Hie gifts are to take the form of household linen for the new home at Manurewa. A musical programme is being arranged, Mrs. Hamilton Hodges and other well-known artists giving their services. Afternoon tea and supper will lie provided, (lifts mav be sent to Mrs. Howie (Edwin Street), Mrs. Hav (108, Grafton Road). Mrs. Woolley (Paget' Street, I'(insonby), and Mrs. (laze (Karangahape Road).
