CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.
CAMBRIDGE SOCIETY'S DISPLAY.
Many beautiful blooms were displayed at the Cambridge Chrysanthemum Society's Show. Mr. W. F. Buckland won the first prize for a display of 24 Japanese chrysanthemums, not less than 15 varieties,"Mr. G. D. Simpson being second. The hitter exhibited the champion Japanese chrysanthemum, and the former the champion incurved variety. Mrs. Wells and Miss Sharkey were placed first and second respectively for their exhibit of 18 chrysanthemums, not less than 12 varieties. 'Mrs. Bunyard took first and second prizes for vases of 25 show blooms. Many other prizes were awarded for chrysanthemums, dahlias, cut flowers, pot plants, and floral decorations.
