FERRY EMPLOYEE HURT.
CRUSHED AGAINST WHARF. SERIOUS INJURIES, Suffering from a broken leg, a broken thigh, and serious internal injuries, a youth named Stanley Crabb,'aged 19 years, and living at 22, Bond Street, Devonport, was admitted to the hospital at about five o'clock yesterday afternoon. It appears that ho was working on one of the Devonport ferries, and when the boat was being berthed he was crushed in some way between it and the wharf. Dr. Casement Aickin was Buramoned i who ordered the lad's immediate removal to the hospital. FALL INTO A BOAT. PECULIAR ACCIDENT TO SEAMAN. An accident of a somewhat . unusual nature occurred to a seaman, named James Kynoch, aged 39 years, last night, at about half-past nine. He was picked up in an unconscious condition, and was found to he suffering from injuries to the head. Dr. Casemont Aickin attended him, and ordered his removal to the hospital, where ho was taken bv Constable McCarthy. ,At a late- hour last night the man was still,unconscious.
