TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION
THE NEW BOARD ELECTED, [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. The papers in connection with the triennial election of members of the Teachers' Superannuation Board were opened to-day. Four members were required, two to be elected by contributors resident in the North Island and two by contributors resident in the South Island.
The retiring members were:—North Island: W. T. Grundy (Wellington), W. H. Foster (Petone). South Island: William Davidson (Moimington), James A. Valentine (Timaru). These were candidates for re-election, and the other candidates were H. G. Cousins (Auckland) and A- Benge (Waihi) for the North Island, and E. U. Just (Lyttelton). for the South Island.
The voting resulted. in the return of Grundy and Cousins for the North Island and the re-election of Davidson and Valentine for the South Island.
