BILLIARDS.
The Grav-Lindrum combination, which consists of George "Gray and his. father Harry Gray and Fred. Lindrum and his father, will reach Auckland about Christinas or early in the New Year. It is proposed to give a < public display on a standard pocket table, which lias been specially built by Alcock and Co., in a suitable hall in this city, and the players also anticipate getting some engagements at the clubs during their stay. During their late match in Wellington some splendid billiards resulted, and both Lindrum and Gray made many friends. Lindrum will be 22 years of age in February and young Gray is five years his junior. —u _
