After a two days' sitting the Supreme Court to-day concluded the hearing of a case brought by Mrs. Burden against the Crown, claim for. £1500, compensation for the death of her husband, who died on April 1 while cleaning out a gasholder at the 'railway station. After a retirement of 50. minutes the'jury; returned a verdict for £1100.
