The United States Senate has directed its Appropriation Committee to recommend a suitable course of action in regard to President Roosevelt's Message Referring to secret service men and politicians. Some senators describe the President's action as the most wanton insult ever offered the Legislature. (Received December 18, 11 p.m.) New York, December 18. The United States House of Representatives invites President Roosevelt to produce evidence justifying his reference to secret service men and Congress.
