May Queen. — Operations in the crosscut at No. 6 level were slightly interfered with to-day on account of the prevalence of gas, but Mr. Birch has taken steps to remedy this defect. Victoria. — The reef operated upon at the Saxon Mo. 4 level has again opened out to over 3 feet in thickness, and the country encasing it is somewhat easier than has lately been the case.
