AMUSEMENTS.
Prince of Wales Theatre.—As might have been expected from the wretched state of the weather last evening, there was a thin attendance at this theatre. The comedy of " John Bull, or the Englishman's Fireside," was produced, and whether from the state of the weather, or the small audience, we cannot say, but the piece dragged a good deal. But even at its best, it is not one of those comedies in which cither -Mr. Hoskins or Alias Colville can appear to their best advantage. Pressure upon our space, consequent upon the arrival of the English telegrams, prevents us from giving a detailed notice of the piece, which is to be repeated again this evening. The afterpleco was the amusing farco of "The Man About Town." Tomorrow evening there will bo an amateur performance, oil the occasion of the benefit of that charming young actress, Miss Florence Colville. Tub Circus. —In consequence of the unfavourable state of the weather, this place of entertainment was closed last evening. This evening the performance will be for the benefit of Messrs. McComish and Becteson, of the band. TiiEATitE Rcstal.—This place of amusement will bo re-opened this evening, when the Star Polygraphic Company will make their re-appearance in their very pleasing and interesting entertainment.
