(Tliis sentimental piece of verse was enclosed in a letter from one of the New Zealand Mounteds in Palestine.) In this world we're always Moving, moving on. When you make a friend, Another friend has gone. If a woman's kindly face Makes you. welcome for a space Then it's "Stand to camels, boys, We're moving on." In the wards they're always Moving, moving on. They're here to-day, to-morrow, They are gone. When the bravest and the best Of the boys " Go West," Then you are choking down Your tears, and moving on.
