* To fire. After the matoh tho teams marched to the Quoen's Hotel, whore dinner wan nerved. A smoke concert followed, tho men passing a pleasant few hours. In responding to the toast of tho Hiißsar torun, Captain Ohaffey thanked tho I Battery for fchoir hoipitality, and hoped tJmt Uie in<ttch which lmd taken place thai day would be the first of many similar events. A very enjoyable evening was spent, all being pleased with tho entertainment provided. Previous to dispersing cheora were given by tho men for their oflicors, as a testimony to tho efforts they had made to bring tho teams together in friendly rivalry. SergeantMajor M'Phorson had charge of the firing at tho match, and his services gave every satisfaction.
