FIGHT IN HOTEL YARD
SERIOUS ENDING. (United Press Association.) WHANGAREI, This Day. As a:, result of an altercation in the back yard at Falconer's Commercial Hotel last night, between a barman named George Gradwell and a young .Native named Kake Akarana, the former was knocked down and truck his head on a j-tone. sustaining a fracture of the base of the skull. His condition is serious, and his depositions have been taken. The police have not yet found Akarana.
