THE CAMDEN ROAD CRIME.
CBIPPEN'S APPEAL DISMISSED. Press Association. —Copyright. LONDON, Sunday. Crippen, the Camden Road murderer, appealed against his conviction and death sentence, contending that the identity of the corps was not •established, and the Crown's rebutting evidence was wrongly admitted. Mr. Tobin, K.C., explained that the return of his brief was a mistake, through a misunderstanding. After counsel had spoken for four and a-half hours the appeal was dismissed in ten minutes.
