WELLINGTON. Yesterday Between 5000 and 6030 people were present at the football match to-day between Auckland and Wellington. The weather was fine, and the ground was in splendid order. A fairly interesting game ended in a win for WeUington by 4 points to 3. The visitors forwards did not show to advantage, and Wellington had all the 'best of that department of the game.
