The drought still continues to prevail, on the coast line, the summer has as yet been the coldest we remember, with only four or five days which can be said to have been hot. East of the Darling Range, however, the summer lias been one of heat and dryness, and the country has been so parched that the stockowners have had to remove some of their flocks. — Perth Gazette.
