The Claud Hamilton, s., left Melbourne on the evening of the 22nd ult., arrived off" Hokitika on the morning of the 26th, left for the Grey early on the 29th, left the Grey, for Nelson, at 11 a.m. on the 30th, where she arrived at 7 p.m. on the 31st. She encountered heavy weather between Melbourne and Hokitika, and a strong gale off'the West Coast.
