The South Australian left Port Phillip Heads, 1 7th inst., at 4.40 p.m., half an hour before the Tararua, and had fine weather till noon of the 22nd, when she encountered strong winds and thick weather. At 5 pm passed the Solander; 7 p.m. hove to until 5 a.m. of the 22nd. Arrived at the Bluff at 6.30 a.m., three quarters of an hour before the Tararua. Left the Bluff at noon; at 6 p.m. was abreast the Nuggets, the engines going dead slow till daylight. Entered the heads at 9 a.m. on the 23rd. Monday, 26th, at 6.30 pm, passed through Otago heads, fine weather, and arrived at Lyttelton, at 10.30,27 th; left again, for Wellington, at 6.30, and arrived at 10.40,28 th. At 4.45 p.m. of the 29th, left for Nelson, and arrived here at 6.45 a.m. on the 30th. She brings 159 passengers. The P.N.Z. & A.R.M. Co.'s Airedale, s.s., Captain Meikleham, arrived in this harbor this morning. She left the Bluff on the 22nd, at 4 p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers the next day, at 7 a.m. Sailed for Lyttelton on the 25th, at 4 p.m., arriving there the next day, at 12.20 p.m. Left pgain on the 27th, at 2.30 p.m., arriving at Wellington at noon on Wednesday, left for Picton on Friday, at noon, and arrived, there at 5 p.m.; left an hour afterwards, and came .alongside the wharf at Nelson at 6 this morning.
