Steamer Kennedy. — Messrs. JNath. Edwards & Co.'s fine steamer Kennedy arrived, at midnight, on the 3rd instant, after a remarkably successful trip to the West Coast. She left Nelson on the 21st Feb., at 7.30 p.m. ; arrived off the Grey, and anchored on the - 23rd, at 4 a.m., and took the bar soon after. Left, with 10 tons cargo and coal on the 26th, at 5.30 a.m., for Hokitika, at which place she arrived at 9 a.m. Left the same.day, at 7 p.m., for Okarita, with about 150 passengers. On the 27th, at 7 a.m., crossed the Okarita bar, and landed passengers ; left for Hokitika, where she arrived at 6.30 p.m., on the same day. On tlie following day she again left Hokitika for Okarita, with 85 passengers, whom she landed at their destination the same day. Left for Hokitika on the Ist inst, at 11 a.m., arriving there at 7 p.m. On the 2nd inst. left for the Grey, at 10 a.m., at noon. Left for Nelson at 9.30 p.m., where she arrived at midnight on the 3rd inst. She brings 3,500 ounces gold for the Union Bank.
