IN AMERICAN CONGRESS. GRAFT ACCUSATIONS. WASHINGTON, April 7. Scenes of disorder were witnessed in the House of Representatives, when Democratic representatives of Texas attacked their colleague, Mr T. L. Blanton, whom the House recently censured and nearly expelled. Mr Bianton had made speeches in Texas alleging that members of Congress used their stationery allowances to purchase pocket flasks and for other private purposes. He also alleged that the Government had expended many thousands of dollars to provide barbers and masseurs for Congressmen, and charged Congressmen with various forms of petty graft., Mr Garner called Mr Bianton a liar. Mr Bianton declared that he would hold Mr Garner personally responsible, but left the House. Later he declared that if he had made a reply .the House would have expelled him. —A. and N.Z.
