A message from Funchal, Madeira, K ays tliat the body of the ex-Empcror - Cliarlos was conveyed along a route lined by respectful crowds to a temporary mausoleum in the parish church, where, in the presence of .members of the Habsiburg family, the local bishop conducted the funeral service. The he-.rt has been removed. It will be enclosed in a crystal urn within a silver casket, and will be sent to Austria. The body itself will be sent to Hungary.— Renter.
