RETRENCHMENT.
P. AND T. OFFICERS' ATTITUDE
LOCAL BRANCH RESOLUTION
At a large and representative meeting of the local branch of the NewZealand P. and T. Officers' Associaheld last evening, the following resolution was unanimously passed.—
"That this sub-section of the New Zealand P. and T. Officer's Association are absolutely opposed to -accept any reduction in salary whatsoever while the cost of living standard remains as at present, and we ask our executive to prevent this reduction being made. Further we pledge ourselves to unanimously support them in any such action."
