MAN FOUND DEAD.
AUCKLAND. June 12. Lachlan Spechly was found dead near the back door of his house at Howick with a gun-shot wound in the forehead. Beside the body was a double-barrelled shot-gun. Deceased was 47 years of age, in comfortable ■circumstances, and good health. It was suggested at the inquest that he tripped, thus causing accidental discharge of the gun.
