Received Jano 2,12.15 a.m. The Russians traversed a strong current running past Ski, and proceeded due north. The Japanese ready with their auxiliary fleet to tho north headed off the enemy. Togo's vessels manoeuvred with precision. their fire enfiladed the Russlans on both flanks and on tho front. The scene was superbly terrible, the Rons of nearly 60 chips being fired wiih a great crash oocasionaljy as ths loud reports coincided. • •
-For a time the belligerents gave shot ior shot, the fleets moving, but the Russ'ans deviating from their original course, with a hostile rqaadron on each tide and another ahead. .
